Midwest Bellows 'N Brass
Jam sessions for winter Texans are held almost every day in the Rio Grande Valley. It was during these jam sessions that five accomplished and experienced musicians came together to create a unique up-and-coming dance band. MIDWEST BELLOWS ‘N BRASS brings a fresh sound to the Valley. No other group combines the accordion and brass sounds that people have enjoyed and loved for years in the Midwestern United States.
What makes this group of musicians so unique is that on their music stands there is an absence of sheet music. All of the arrangements are done from memory. Music performed by the band is of all styles. While their ethnic repertoire makes them a natural for theme events such as OCTOBERFEST or GERMANFEST, their experience and instrument combination enable them to also perform outstanding DIXIELAND and MARDI GRAS music. The group can change from polka to country to Dixieland as easily as flipping a switch. You will enjoy listening and dancing to a wide variety of songs, including POLKAS, WALTZES, CIRCLE SCHOTTISCHE, RHUMBAS, and more.
Once you hear MIDWEST BELLOWS ‘N BRASS you’ll agree, they are SMILE MAKERS. For bookings you may contact Paul Pagel at (956)787-3773,

Farnum Family
The Farnum Family is an active home-school family band consisting of six children all performing American & European-originated folk music from the early 1800's thru mid-1900's. With influence gleaned from bluegrass, folk, gospel, Irish, old-time standards, and cowboy and western, their diverse blend of music is styled in an almost-traditional string-band manner – with 5-string banjo, fiddle, guitar, mandolin and upright bass, supported by piano and occasional harmonica. Their homespun and entertaining presentations – whether for theater concert, church congregation, school assembly or RV Park – include appropriately supportive historic dialogue, instrumental exhibition and singing – to captivate audiences, young & old.
