J Micheal Laferty

Micheal began writing and performing his own music as a teenager in the Willamette Valley of Oregon.  He began working full time in 1975 as a road musician in the cocktail lounges and hotel chains up and down the West Coast, performing the cover tunes that paid the bills, but also making sure that his songs were in the repertoire of every band with which he worked. Micheal started working as an acoustic solo act in the early 80’s, building a loyal following of “Parrotheads” and “Margarittaville” expatriates, and for the next decade would be the Jimmy Buffet clone on the West Coast, all the while interspersing his own material when possible.  Micheal settled into life on the Gulf Coast in 1995, he calls South Padre Island Texas “home”.  His music, a reflection of his island lifestyle and tropical surroundings, is garnering recognition, in the Americana/Texas Music genre in the States as well as Europe, and he has become a defining benchmark in the emerging “Gulf Coast Americana” market.

Sherwin & Pamela Linton

Get ready for a Country and Popular Music show packed full of your favorite classic songs. Amazing vocal harmonies and touching duets are accented by a few stories. We tell the truth…. it’s funnier than anything we can make up! Audiences are amazed by Sherwin’s ability to bring back the image and sound of Johnny Cash. Dick Moebakken’s affable personality adds to his great impression of “Grandpa McCoy” and Dick’s vocal likeness to Freddy Fender is a show stopper. Pam Linton’s sweet yet powerful vocals really shine when she performs her special tribute to Country Music’s First Lady Tammy Wynette. The rockin’ music of the 50’s also comes alive and members of the audience frequently become the star of the show when Pam’s alter ego “Sally Smash” shows up with her bad biker boyfriend! This three piece group has a vast repertoire of routines and so much material to draw from the show is ever changing and audiences are always coming back for more!

The Cowboy and Hobo Show featuring Cactus Willie, Boxcar Bob and The Drifter.

The music is acoustical with vocal leads and harmonies.  It is a combination of Country, Folk, Bluegrass & Lite Rock n' Roll. The sound is a wonderful blending of all those styles. Very similar to the Kingston Trio and acoustic folk groups of the 1950's and  1960's. Songs you will remember and a stage presence that is truly professional.

Live performances are full of energy, humor and wonderful vocals.
